Finally, serious fishing meets serious adventure! The Lodge at Whale Pass is Alaska's first premier wilderness lodge that provides the same exceptional service and planning for adventure activities, eco-tours, and sportfishing-making us the perfect destination choice for corporate retreats and incentive trips. Our location on the northeast shore of Prince of Wales Island will immerse you in one of the most spectacular settings on the planet, all within a few hours of Seattle.

Each day is unique at The Lodge at Whale Pass and our goal is to provide you and your group with the utmost in flexibility. There is no set itinerary as the day is yours to create; whether it's fishing for salmon, halibut or other bottom fish in the saltwater, trout or salmon in the pristine streams of the Tongass National Forest, or sea-kayaking amidst the ice of Le Conte Glacier. Your adventure palette will consist of whale watching, hiking, mountain biking, sea-kayaking, wildlife viewing, caving, fishing, glacier-viewing, just to name a few!

Our goal is to make you feel at home at The Lodge at Whale Pass. You'll be treated to the finest accommodations, dining, and service that Alaska has to offer. The lodge is blessed with ample interior spaces for our guests to enjoy. The Great Room in the main lodge is more introspective place designed for reading, conversing and unwinding by the fireplace. In contrast, the livelier 'rec' room, a separate building from the main lodge, is the perfect setting for entertainment with its gaming tables, bar and player piano.

Added amenities include our Finnish-style sauna flanked by our hot tub, both with spectacular bay views. For some extra pampering our licensed masseuse will help to end the perfect adventure filled day. We also welcome and encourage children. As part of our highly acclaimed youth program, children of all ages, from infants to teens, will find a world of exciting discovery, learning and fun awaiting them at The Lodge at Whale Pass.
