Welcome to the newly renovated and expanded KwaTaqNuk Resort, on the shores of Flathead Lake, the third largest freshwater lake in the world. KwaTaqNuk is the lake's finest full-service resort and graciously serves as the gateway into Montana's natural beauty and Indian heritage.

KwaTaqNuk is proudly owned and operated by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and brings together the best in traditional hospitality and modern services. As a complement to its surroundings, the resort is elegantly decorated in a warm regional flavor reflective of the life and history of the First Nations.

The centerpiece of KwaTaqNuk's expansion is a new 7,500 square-foot, two-level sports bar and casino--The Bay Club. The KwaTaqNuk Resort Casino presently features 20 Class II Rocket Bingo games with payouts of $500,000 or more, but the number is anticipated to rise dramatically when expansion and remodeling are completed in late fall.

Located on Flathead Lake's south bay, KwaTaqNuk commands a sweeping view of the Mission Mountains of the Northern Rockies. Guests can watch the sunset paint the mountains and melt into the water from Jocko's Steakhouse and Lounge, the new restaurant at KwaTaqNuk. For lunch, dinner, cocktails and beautiful views, Jocko's is the place to be. Guests can also enjoy Sunday Brunch on the terrace.

With the unique opportunity to stay right on the lakeshore, KwaTaqNuk is a perfect base for year-round activities. Our full-service marina puts boating, lake cruises and fishing right outside your door. Winter sports include downhill and cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, all within an easy drive to Big Mountain Ski Resort or the Blacktail Mountain Ski Resort.

Guests may also enjoy outings to several nearby state parks or a scenic day trips to Glacier National Park or the National Bison Range. The surrounding community provides a look into our history and culture as well and is filled with local treasures including shopping, summer theatre, rodeos, pow wows, museums and five golf courses. For guests who prefer to stay closer to home, the resort houses a 24-hour casino with the largest payouts in Montana. We also offer indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whirlpool, Western art gallery and gift shop.

KwaTaqNuk Resort's standard accommodations include rooms with either lakeside or city views, two queen beds, a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and voice mail. For business travelers, we offer king executive rooms with one king bed as well as a data port, a recliner and a desk.

KwaTaqNuk is located in Polson, Montana, on the Flathead Indian Reservation. We are just 55 miles south of Kalispell and Glacier International Airport and 65 miles north of Missoula and Missoula International Airport.

Visit us and discover a memorable and truly unique resort experience.
