Encore! Campbell's Resort on Lake Chelan awarded Best Washington Wine List, Again!
Lake Chelan, WA - For the second year in a row, Wine Press Northwest Magazine has awarded Campbell's Resort on Lake Chelan with the prestigious 'Best Washington Wine List' award during their seventh annual competition. Judging criteria is based on each restaurant's wine selection in view of quality and quantity of Northwest content, by-the-glass selections, presentation and price. Recognition of the award earned Campbell's a write-up in the fall edition of Wine Press Northwest Magazine, alongside such notable restaurants as the Herbfarm in Woodinville and Seattle’s Canlis Restaurant. George Van Over is the resort’s cellar master.
Campbell’s Resort has become a central showcase for the area's burgeoning wine industry. There are currently eleven boutique wineries in the Chelan Valley area with plans for at least five more by next year. Van Over's wine list features over twenty unique offerings from these local wineries as well as a number of Washington favorites.
