“Best of the Northwest” Invites Travelers to Experience the
Ultimate Olympic National Park and Forest Getaway

Travelers Can Combine Up to Four Unique Destinations into One Vacation

OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, WASH. – March 15, 2010 – ARAMARK Parks and Destinations (APD) announces a new lodging package that invites guests to create their own experience by combining up to four unique destinations into one vacation at Olympic National Park and Forest. The “Best of the Northwest” package features a minimum three-night stay in any combination at any of the four lodges: Lake Quinault Lodge, Kalaloch Lodge, Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort and APD’s newest location, Lake Crescent Lodge.

With an average savings of up to 35 percent, the three-night package is priced at $399 and
includes a $40 resort credit per night that can be used towards meals and/or activities at the
lodges. If three nights are not enough to absorb the experience, guests can extend their stay at
a discounted price of $99 for additional nights. Upgraded rooms are also available at $20
additional per night. The “Best of the Northwest” package is available March 26 – June 15,
2010. Lake Crescent Lodge opens May 7 and is available for stays on this package May 7 –
June 15.

The diverse landscape of the Pacific Northwest offers visitors a wide range of activities. Guests
can hike through the Pandora-like emerald rainforest at Lake Quinault Lodge or explore the
miles of sandy beaches, tracing the steps of Edward and Bella of the fantasy phenomenon
Twilight at Kalaloch Lodge. Hikers can soak in rejuvenating outdoor pure mineral water hot
pools at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort or rest peacefully amongst the towering pines along the
quiet shores of the charming Lake Crescent Lodge.

In addition, the unique climate on the Olympic Peninsula, with ideal conditions for growing
mushrooms and harvesting razor clams, makes the region the home of what some would
consider the most flavorful culinary wonders in the U.S.

“For the past three years the ‘Trio of Treasures’ package offered at Lake Quinault Lodge,
Kalaloch Lodge and Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort has been the most popular package among
our guests and visitors, as it encompassed a full assortment of experiences in the Pacific
Northwest. With the recent addition of Lake Crescent Lodge, we can now truly offer the ’Best of
the Northwest’ through not just distinctly unique landscapes at each destination, but also a wide
array of culinary delights and outdoor activities to choose from,” said Amanda Lovelady,
resident district manager, ARAMARK, Olympic Peninsula.
