Lynnwood Convention Center
A Message From the General Manager
Spring time in the Puget Sound normally conjures up thoughts of renewal and awakening. This year, spring is a time for reflection for the Lynnwood Convention Center, as April will mark our 5th year of operation.
In those five years, we've welcomed over 350,000 guests to the facility while hosting over 2,100 events and 2,600 event days. Additionally, Convention Center events and activities have generated an estimated $60 million in economic impact for the City of Lynnwood and surrounding communities.
Whether community events or small private meetings, multi-day conventions or black tie galas, life affirming weddings or home and garden shows...you've been there. And we appreciate your support. You were also there during the financial crisis that led to an economic recession. So we took steps to make sure that we were there for you by adjusting our business model to accomodate your needs.
We've worked tirelessly to provide you with a first class facility, the best possible environment, the highest level of service and most flexible terms possible in order to meet your needs and earn your loyalty. Rest assured we will continue to do so.
As we move forward throughout 2010, we will spotlight various events and milestones from our first five years. In this edition of our newsletter, we spotlight our first wedding. We will also spotlight various community events such as Sample South County and the City of Lynnwood Public Art Reception. Both events will take place on April 14, 2010, and we invite you to come out and join us.
It has indeed been a memorable first five years. Thank you for being there. We promise to continue to be there for you in years to come.
