MAYFLOWER PARK HOTEL OFFERS HIGH TECH CONVENIENCE

Seattle - In today's ever expanding high speed world it is nice to still enjoy the slower pace of yesteryear. And that is just what you can do at the Mayflower Park Hotel. While sitting fireside next to original, 1927 stained glass windows, a guest can access the Internet through high-speed wireless technology, and with no fee.

Paul Ishii, General Manager of the Mayflower Park Hotel, stated several reasons for going high speed. "With technology advancing so quickly, we knew we had to offer our guests the most advanced version of accessing the Internet, or our system would be outdated in a year. We also pride ourselves on SERVICE at the Mayflower Park Hotel, and we felt our loyal guests deserved the most modern conveniences of today."

Meeting rooms for up to 200 people also offer wireless connection to the Internet at the Mayflower Park Hotel. This means guests attending a meeting can sit in meeting rooms, public spaces and their guestroom and still wirelessly access the Internet through their laptops. For guests carrying laptops that do not provide for wireless connectivity, the hotel provides an "instant Ethernet wireless bridge for a nominal fee," said Ishii.

Since installing the service in January, the hotel has booked several large group functions where wireless connectivity was a requirement. The hotel's large following of business travelers has also expanded due to this new service. Connecting to the Internet is complimentary in the guestrooms and public spaces, while there is a small fee of $250 for all meeting rooms.
