Dierks Bentley “Miles and Music for Kids” Benefit Slated for Puyallup Fair on Sept. 18

Tickets go on sale on March 27 at 9 a.m.

Puyallup, WA – March 19, 2010 – After selling five million copies of his studio albums, topping the charts with seven No. one hits including “Sideways,” “Free & Easy” and “What Was I Thinkin’?,” taking home multiple CMA and ACM awards and racking up seven GRAMMY nominations, platinum selling country star Dierks Bentley shows no signs of slowing down with two new projects coming in 2010. The country rocker, who has played every corner of the U.S. and abroad, heads into the summer with a full touring schedule including arenas and festivals across the country.

The Dierks Bentley “Miles and Music for Kids” benefit will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. The performance, part of the Columbia Bank’s Puyallup Fair Concert Series will start selling tickets on Saturday, March 27 at 9 a.m. at www.thefair.com and Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices are $70 Golden Circle / $50 / $40 / $25, and include Fair gate admission, and seats are reserved.

Join Dierks Bentley as he continues his nationwide “Miles and Music For Kids”at 2302 Pacific Hwy E Tacoma, WA 98424. Ride registration will start at 2:30 p.m. and travel to the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. The trek will culminate with a special concert featuring Bentley. celebrity motorcycle ride and concert series with a stop in Puyallup on Saturday, September 18. Presented by Nationwide Insurance, proceeds from the event will benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital. The 45 minute ride will depart Destination Harley-Davidson of Tacoma.

Last year, Bentley joined forces with Nationwide Insurance, CMT ONE COUNTRY and the Children's Miracle Network to expand the successful "Miles & Music for Kids" event to six cities across the country in 2009 and 2010, with all proceeds benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals in those areas. Since it began in 2006, "Miles & Music for Kids" has raised over $1 million.”
