A Beautiful Location ~ The Hotel Eldorado, situated on beautiful Okanagan Lake, is just steps from Kelowna's beaches and minutes away from the world class golf and award winning wineries that have made the Okanagan famous.

A Rich History ~ The Hotel Eldorado has always been known as a unique destination for fabulous food, beverage and accommodation. Originally constructed in 1926 by the Countess Bubna Litite of Austria, 'the El' has been a place of casual elegance for decades. In 1989, current owner, Jim Nixon, saved the Eldorado Arms from demolition and ambitiously moved the hotel up the lake by barge to its present location. Shortly after coming ashore, arson struck and completely burned the original building to the ground. After a short period of mourning, Jim undauntedly set out to rebuild Kelowna's oldest hotel. With help from the original foundation, the new building became a near replica of the old Arms. Carpenters meticulously built the 'El' the way they would have built the project originally, paying attention to detail and using plenty of wood. The new building opened one year later on St. Patrick's Day, 1990.

The Heritage Building ~ The perfect blend of old world charm and new world comfort awaits you in the Heritage Guestrooms of the Hotel Eldorado. Showcasing a collection of antiques and Okanagan memorabilia, each guestroom has its own character and motif. Guests who enjoy the charms of an inn will fall in love with this wing of the hotel.

Eldorado Arms Guestrooms and Suites ~ The thirty guestrooms and six lakeview luxury suites located in this brand new section of the hotel all retain the same notion of casual elegance that has made the 'El' famous for decades. Inspired by a Hampton's styled beachouse, these deluxe guestrooms feature cork flooring, custom woodwork, posh furnishings, DVD players, and 8 ft floor-to-ceiling windows. The six Eldorado Arms Lakeview Luxury Suites provide accommodation that is unrivalled in the Okanagan. Jetted-jacuzzi tubs perched overlooking Okanagan Lake, LCD TVs, jetted body spray showers, fireplaces and mini kitchens are all standard features in these 620 sq. ft units.

Services and Amenities ~ Our Award-winning Lakeside Dining Room, Outdoor Boardwalk CafZ, and lounge are favourite destinations by locals and hotel guests alike. Fitness facilities, indoor pool and hot tub, steamroom, spa, marina and specialty wine and liquor store all located on-site. Ask about our romance, golf, spa and wine touring packages.

Ordinary meetings become extraordinary events lakeside at the Hotel Eldorado. The Sunroom with Terrace provides the perfect venue for large receptions, presentations, business meetings, group dinners, weddings or private parties. With sweeping mountainviews and a fabulous view of Okanagan Lake, the Boardroom and Tented Patio provide a relaxed atmosphere to conduct business meetings, seminars, training sessions or private dinner parties.
