Hear the Legend...Feel the Spirit...at the Quaaout Resort & Conference Centre, in the Shuswap's 'four season playground.'

Quaaout is a resort which opens its doors to a world of history, adventure and Native tradition. Nestled in a stand of pines along the shoreline of Little Shuswap Lake, Quaaout Resort is a place so rich in tradition and hospitality, it is unlike any other resort on earth.

Located midway between Vancouver and Calgary it is just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway. Flying in? The resort is a one-hour drive east from the Kamloops Airport, or a scenic 2-hour drive north from the Kelowna International Airport. The peaceful location of the resort makes it a distinct destination for those travelers wishing to enjoy all the amenities of a full service resort without the hassle and commotion found in the city.

Unique sights, aromatic delights and a people as warm as the sun await our guests. Our area offers the perfect combination of climate and seasons, breathtaking landscape and unhurried lifestyle. Guest amenities include luxurious accommodation, in-room high-speed internet, 2,400' of sandy beach, indoor whirl and swimming pools, fully equipped gym, world championship horseshoe pits, meeting facilities, authentic Native gourmet meals and Native interpretive areas including teepees, kekuli and traditional sweat lodge. Come "hear the legend and feel the spirit" as age-old traditions are told through vibrant displays of song and dance, or on a quiet self-directed nature walk. Active pastimes include swimming, canoeing, biking, trail rides, golf, fishing, trekking, whitewater rafting, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing and of course relaxing on the beach.

Our uniquely designed Conference Centre has the Native kekuli, or winter home, as the architectural inspiration and provides our guests with a functional setting for their event that beautifully reflects the Native Heritage of the area. Four functional, attractive meeting rooms can be used individually or opened to accommodate larger groups of up to over 500.

Our standards in service, dZcor and cuisine are impeccable. Our attention to detail finely polished. Meeting and conference planner's needs are met by well-appointed meeting rooms, and experienced catering staff to assist with every detail of the event from A/V requirements to Spousal Programs which will ensure that business sessions run smoothly and professionally.

The fresh spring air holds the promise of another perfect year. Whatever season you decide to visit us, there is little doubt that it would be enjoyed by one and all. We look forward to welcoming you and invite you to experience the wonders of our home...or just a well-deserved rest!
